“Liguriastyle.it” was created in 2008 by the Regional federations of Confartigianato and CNA Liguria (respectively Artisans’ Trade Union and National Federation or Artisans and Craftmen) with the contribution of Regione Liguria and Liguria International.

The choice of the name clearly indicates the centre’s vision: a modern conception of handicraft that promotes the enhancement of the historic essential features of handicraft, primarily variety of crafts and manual skills, through the “style” delivered in its different expressions – life, behaviour and thought  - and that has in quality, identity and exclusiveness its main building blocks.

“Liguriastyle.it” is able to transmit modern-style emotions.

The expression “Italian style” is increasingly present in the international markets, which reflects the creative strength of our businesses and their products.

• LiguriaStyle.it encompasses the different aspects characterizing the local artisan framework, such as:
• The identity and recognizibility of Ligurian handicraft;
• Training and preservation activities, transmission of competencies and traditions through workshops, meetings and discussions open to the public;
• Information network for existing entrepreneurs (and looking ahead, also for potential future ones: “new entrepreneurship centre”);
• Exhibitions and museums used to value professions and their needs and opportunities;
• The market, by offering opportunities for selling and buying products, activities and professions.
  LiguriaStyle.it is a limited liability consortium company and is in charge of running the centre and – more generally – organizing all relevant initiatives for the promotion of businesses in the handicraft sector.
